Are you a hands-on, reliable worker who enjoys being part of a busy, supportive team? We are looking for a Trade Assistant to support our skilled tradespeople and operational teams in Malaga. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills while contributing to a safe, organised, and efficient workplace.
What You’ll Do:
- Assist tradespeople with tools, materials, and site preparation
- Operate machinery and equipment safely, including forklifts and power tools (licensed operators only)
- Prepare goods for dispatch: packaging, labelling, and coordinating logistics
- Maintain accurate inventory records and report discrepancies
- Support warehouse and workshop operations as required
- Perform general labouring tasks: cleaning, lifting, and basic repairs
- Keep work areas clean, organised, and safe
- Conduct routine inspections and report hazards
- Follow all workplace health and safety procedures
What We’re Looking For:
- Essential: Valid Forklift Licence (LF)
- Previous experience as a Trade Assistant, in warehousing, or logistics preferred
- Basic mechanical aptitude is a plus
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment
- Strong attention to detail, organisational skills, and teamwork
- Eager to learn and take direction
- Competitive pay: $39/hr (including casual loading)
